| Hi. Thanks for visiting my page here on deviantart. I am a Plymouth-based photographer in the UK. Unless otherwise stated, NONE of my work is stock and must not be used for any purpose without my permission. Thanks. Happy to hear from models for collaboration projects and currently, I am particularly interested in hearing from clothes designers for collaboration on magazine submissions. You can also find me on ModelMayhem; [link] and on our studio website: [link] |

You should look at the Nikon equivilent as well - the best thing to do is to go to a camera shop and get the feel of them and see whether you prefer the Canon feel or the Nikon feel. I believe the Nikon equivilent of the 40/50D is the D300.
Personally if was wanting a camera for speed (sports or journalism) I would probably go for a Nikon - but for fashion / studio / landscape shooting I would always go for Canon - that's just my personal opinion.
I would not recommend anything less than the 40D. It is really the lowest level semi-pro camera - but excellent value for money.
